We All Need Help Sometimes

So, having a brain tumour, even a benign one, is a bit grim. Having someone cut through your brain to remove it is also fairly unpleasant. But one of the hardest things, was the feeling of isolation. Not many people have brain tumours, so finding information was difficult. I still belong to several online forums - finding information is still difficult. So, I wrote a little book. Hopefully it will help.
'How to Have a Brain Tumour' by Anne E Thompson is aimed at people with brain tumours, with helpful advice on how to deal with neurosurgeons, how to recover from a craniotomy and get your driver's licence back, what hydrocephalus feels like. However, it also discusses issues relevant to anyone with a serious illness - how to not be defined by an illness, how to cope with constant pain, how to deal with other people's fears, how to face death.
The book is aimed at a fairly small market, so I would appreciate your help in sharing this post. I'm hoping it will help people going through a tough time. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Thanks.
